MEET YOUR COACH
My mission is to make exercise and nutrition simple and accessible so that anybody can build strength, move better and feel great!
I’m Shane Millward, founder and head coach at KORE MOVEMENT. With extensive experience in helping people with functional strength, I truly believe the transformative power of exercise.
As a coach, I've witnessed the incredible benefits of functional strength training firsthand - chronic knee pain disappearing in weeks, gym anxiety transforming into confidence, a dad losing over 10kg in 10 weeks and feeling like he can run around with his kids again.

My Journey
​
I've always loved feeling fit and strong, but for many years, I hesitated joining a gym because I didn't think I would fit in with the hyper-masculine stereotype. After joining one, I quickly realised that all my preconceptions were unfounded. Gyms were actually a welcoming community of people prioritising their health.

At the start I also experienced a lot of gym anxiety. I didn't know what exercises to do to achieve my goals, and I was worried about injuring myself. This led me down a path of research, and now, five years later, I’m a qualified personal trainer specialising in helping people learn the fundamentals of exercise and nutrition.

It's my passion to help others overcome that same fear. I aim to empower people to feel confident in the gym, understand their nutrition, and achieve their goals - without sacrificing the things they love.
